Dr. Palermo had the biggest and most positive impact of any teacher on my life. As my jazz ensemble and marching band teacher at NDCL, Dr. Palermo believed in me, supported me, and changed the trajectory of my life. I am incredibly grateful for everything I learned from him!

Mr Palermo is the best! He was one of my favorite teachers in my time at mayfield! He really has a passion for music and was the only reason I stayed in band from 6th grade on. Whether it’s teaching, playing, mentoring, or judging he gives everyone the confidence they need to learn music. I am honored to have had him as a band director.

Mr. Palermo is a class act. He gives kids the confidence, and patience to learn music, and he wants to see them succeed. His smile is infectious, and I am honored to know him, and call him a friend. Where I am in life today, I owe him for believing in our dreams to believe in ourselves.
