I’ve known Michael for over 30 years. Great educator, great musician and a great father! As a fellow band director, you can tell when someone has a passion for what they’re doing… Mike Palermo has a passion for his students and for music. In all aspects of music – teaching, performing, judging – he is top notch!

Michael is an educator for all levels, all learners and all areas of music. I have had Mike out twice to work with my middle school bands and jazz bands. The kids loved working with him and learned a great deal while he was with us. He is positive, and fun while engaging and motivating. On a personal note we have been friends for over 4 decades, growing up in the same hometown. He is a friend I can depend on, someone to talk shop with and someone to make you laugh. I highly recommend Michael for any level ensemble to inspire your student musicians.

There are not many people like Mr. Palermo out there! Is dedication to his students and his music are what makes him one of a kind. He has such a talent for creating music, understanding, music and teaching music. I was very blessed to have them as my music teacher for four years and also as an adult as a friend. There’s no one else I would recommend in the music world to teach other students.
