I’ve been blessed to have experienced the teaching abilities of Mike Palermo as a young saxophone player myself via private lessons back in the day and now as a mentor for my son who has picked up where I left off. Though the player of the instrument has changed, the care, ability, and passion of the instructor, Mike Palermo, has remained constant.

Mike has been a constant in my life since homeroom of my freshman year of highchool. He has unwaveringly proven himself as an outstanding teacher, mentor, musician, and friend. I will forever be grateful for him and all the ways he has been there for me from my impressionable adolescence to now in my adult years. Mike never stops caring. He isn’t afraid to push you to excel at your max potential if you ever have the opportunity to have him as a teacher, and his expertise is apparent in his exceptional skill set as a musician.

I have known Mike for over 20 years. He is hard-working and self motivated. In addition to being an excellent musician, he has been a role model to all those he has taught. His energy is contagious. His effective teaching methods have helped others become remarkable musicians. He is an asset to the teaching and music industries
